There’s no point in competing if there is no competition. After becoming the dominant presence in the RO Sangreal Server, it has been decided that the time has come to call it a day. This announcement is long due, though.

Retiring from a retirement server. Imagine that.

We are back…

After a year or so of playing dota and counterstrike every weekend, we stumbled across a nicely setup private RO server. Don’t ask why we do not wanna play again at the official RO server. Haha.

Anyway, we are at Sangreal RO, a private server that feels like retail and in our opinion is even better operated than retail. It is not like other servers where donators get to be super shit, and stats are off the scale. This will be our retirement home. Stay tuned for more news.

REGARDING OUR ALLEGED DISQUALIFICATION

1. METHOD OF SAKRAY DID NOT FAIL IN SUBMITTING OUR REQUIREMENTS TO LEVEL UP GAMES.
2. THE ANNOUNCEMENT BY LEVEL UP THAT WE FORFEITED OUR SLOT IS NOT TRUE.
3. WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CALL MS. MANGUBAT(WINTERTSUKI) SINCE 1PM TODAY. SHE HAS DROPPED OUR CALL 4 TIMES.

WE APOLOGIZE TO THE RESIDENTS OF SAKRAY IF THEY HAVE FELT ABANDONED BECAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT.

WE ASSURE THE RESIDENTS OF SAKRAY THAT WE DID NOT FAIL IN COMPLETING OUR OBLIGATIONS AS SERVER REPRESENTATIVES.

WE CANNOT COMMENT FURTHER ON THIS MATTER AS WE ARE CONSIDERING OUR LEGAL OPTIONS.

Sulong dugong Lydia !!

In a few days, the Philippine team for the upcoming RWC in Korea will be known. Before the winner is proclaimed we’d like to offer our best of wishes to everyone with Lydian blood in their veins, wherever, whatever server they may be playing in right now.

Defiance is the unified guild of all lydians playing at Freya. With a juggernaut
roster of 8 full guilds, they are one of the most feared guilds at Freya. Other servers have tried and failed having a unified alliance. Lydians did better, they rallied under one banner and formed one guild. Be it inside the PvP arena, at siege, or simply at the boards, Freyans will always fear Defiance.

Hatred is the original angas powerhouse that put lydians into pRO history. They established the lydian trademark of offensive play and risk taking showtime moments. They claimed the RPC crown for lydia when it was barely a year old, besting older more experienced servers. Winning twice, they are considered as the only server champions for Lydia during its time.

Cataclysm is the premier guild of Thor. Formerly MF-Destruction of Lydia, they continue to dominate what many consider as the most hardcore server at pRO. Most of you have already heard the story of everyone at Thor uniting to take on Cataclysm… and failing.

Method is the embodiment of classical guild management. No pots, no supply policy. No ally policy. Select recruitment, rigid rules and standards for all members. With a few founding members of Oblivion, they took the best and brightest of Sakray, and rallied them to victory.

As one of my guildmates told me: “Bawal ang lampa sa Lydia!”

Goodluck everyone, may the best guild have the honor of being the Philippine team for RWC 2007.

Sorry for the lack of updates…

Most of us here at geegee got stuck in the middle of iRL responsibilities, playing at Freya for Defiance and beta testing Granado Espada. The complete method story should be finished before tomorrow, though the complete graphical chart of our roster has yet to be finalized.

For the all the delays, we apologize to the members.

Details for the custom made Method jacket can be found at our forums. Made by Caster, it is a great souvenir for a great guild. Rawr. Payment deadline has been extended till June 2, Saturday.

We are just starting out on Perfect World closed beta testing. So if you are there, message Blaire or Tofu. Who knows, if the game has good PvP elements, we might bring Method to Perfect World.

Level-Up FUCKS UP event.(as usual)

We just came from the level up event at Robinsons Pioneer. We’d like to congratulate our opponents, Bozanian Beastfighters from Baldur. Nice game. How we wish we could have fought under better circumstances.

However, we cannot congratulate Level-up. I hope these things do not happen during the RWC/RPC eliminations. Everyone I believe shares that expectation.

1. The teams were using laptops with small keyboards.
2. The mouse pads were pieces of PAPER, taped on the table.
3. There was lag. Now that was really stupid. The server was only a few feet away, and there were only less than 30 people online. How the fuck can there be lag? Its already a local LAN server by the game publisher himself and its a licensed Ragnarok server from Gravity.
4. The computers were getting disconnected at random. The first match was even called off, due to one of our opponents getting disconnected.
5. They decided to use wireless networking. Hmm, I guess they must have forgotten about the half dozen other establishments at the mall who use wireless networks of their own. Tokyo restaurant at the left side had wi-fi, the chinese restaurant at our right also had wi-fi, and to top it all off the coffee shop above the event also had a wi-fi network of their own. And they wonder why units keep on getting disconnected. Real smart. lol.

A LAN shop with a competent crew can even provide a better connection online compared to what Level-up provided its guests. Pathetic if you ask me considering the technical resources at Level-up’s disposal.

Anyone who has played RO long enough and joined other Level-up events are already used to this kind of crap. We are sorry if we expected better, LUG is already owned by PLDT, we were hoping the technical side at least would be improved.

I guess we were wrong.

P.S. I almost forgot, the teams waited for over an hour before the match started due to technical hitches. (they still proceeded with the match even with the remaining technical hitches)

Method is the 1st Sakray server champ.

Congratulations everyone. You are now part of history, Method is the first server champion for pRO Sakray. We were only 4th in overall agit lord standings as we were busy trying to push a 2nd entry and capturing 2/4 slots for the server finals. Now we have truly proven who is the real #1 at Sakray. It should be noted that our 9 on 9 team did not suffer a single death during the finals. All of their wins were sweeps, often ending at the opponents own corner.
